Manawatu Science and Technology Fair

Winning Photo - Sasha Hatten-Brown "Goldfish" Freyberg achieved several notable awards including two overall category wins at the Manawatu Science Fair, but probably not in the categories you would expect.

Freyberg students managed to win both the Senior Art, and Photography sections, with several impressive pieces of art based around the theme of "Water". Sasha Hatten-Brown put her camera in the position of her Goldfish for her winning entry (as pictured).

Fortuitously, Year 11 students had been working on studies of the Freyberg Pool, so were able to submit a number of well-received entries.
