A final week to remember for Year 13s
In
their last week at Freyberg, Year 13 students celebrated by dressing as farmers, beach
goers, and famous people, as well as, boys and girls high school students.
There was also a 'Guys as Gals' fundraising auction, giant water fight and
tearful final assemblies.
In the name of celebrating their final week at Freyberg before NCEA examinations, Year 13s leaders organised themed days where students dressed and acted in theme. Farmer day saw several students attempt to herd other students into a pen. Formal day, beach day, and wacky days were quite popular, however it was uniform day that really raise eyebrows with a number of old uniforms brought out one last time, and a few unexpected uniforms appearing as well.
The final house assemblies were extended to half an hour, and featured songs and speeches commemorating the Year 13's time at Freyberg.
