Parents Flood To Open Night Despite Rain

Over 750 parents and prospective students came to Freyberg's open night this week, to drive robots, taste Spanish food, push weights, dissect sheep lungs, and hear about how Freyberg is no ordinary school.

Proud of the NCEA results and innovative reputation of his school, Principal Peter Brooks caught the attention of many when announcing plans of 'digital classrooms', where every Freyberg student will have a laptop in three years. His speech was followed by an address by head students before a 14 stop tour of Freyberg was run by a variety of student guides.

The Freyberg Board have decided to accept all student enrolments received by the 20th of August before applying usual school-zone regulations. This news was well heeded as many enrolment forms were signed by the end of the night.
